This project is a fictional rebrand of Figma for Education that stays closely aligned with Figma’s updated visual identity while establishing a distinct presence for its educational offering. It introduces a set of unique brand characters built from Figma’s existing assets. Designed to appeal to younger audiences, particularly K–12 students, these characters make the platform feel more approachable and less intimidating for new users.

What is Figma?
Figma is a collaborative interface design platform used to create, prototype, and share digital products. Figma for Education is its education-focused version for students and teachers, offering the same tools in a learning-oriented context.
The reference image show Figma’s current branding shapes and colors, while Figma for Education retains its older visual identity that has not been updated to match the current system.

A playful moodboard that uses simple geometric shapes with expressive faces and limbs in a minimal style to make the platform more approachable for K–12 students.

Original vs New Education Version
Inspired by FigJam’s exploratory use of Figma’s visual system, the logo introduces a playful adaptation for Figma for Education. It keeps strong visual ties to Figma’s original logo to maintain consistency and recognition.
